Well it was a snowy day in April but still a good day for fishing. Brad and I went down to fish below the dam there in Warsaw. Picked up a new catfish safari lake rod and an Okuma line counter reel from Steve. We put the boat in at Drake Harbor and headed over to the catfish safari cove. Bait was easy to come by once we found it. Saw Matt and Marty up above the walking bridge. They said they where just getting little bites no fish. We went ahead and tried a spot that looked fishy there. We got some smaller blues there nothing big just perfect eaters. Steve came out and anchored right by and started fishing he was on the outside. Man can he catch fish. Took him no time to almost catch up with us in numbers. You know if you guy's that need help catching fish need pointers. Hire Steve Brown on a guide trip. You will walk away with a good time and some fish under your belt. Or if you are just after some tackle go to his website
www.shop.catfishsafari.com . I tell you what them rods are good and he has some good deals on some reels as well. Plus he has them team catfish hooks the best there is. I guess I need you to tell you how redneck snagging is for spoonbill. It is extremely hillbilly. We snagged and snagged and well we snagged 2 blue cats each about 20 pounds. About make a person sick. I still don't get it whats so fun about pumping them rods? Oh well I'll think about doing it again. I'm just not so sure about sticking another blue cat. Freaking crazy.
